First playable Google doodle Celebrate for Pac-Man

Internet giant Google marked the 30th birthday of Pac-Man by featuring the classic arcade videogame in the first-ever playable doodle on its home page. Web users who opened Google’s homepage after 1500 — which is midnight in Japan, where Pac-Man was born — were greeted by a small-scale Pac-man game set around a barely discernible “Google” in the middle of the game’s colorful maze.

The game designed by Toru Iwatani was first released by Japan-based Namco into arcades on May 22, 1980. The Google doodle Pac-Man comes complete with the arcade game’s trademark music and sound effects, and an “Insert Coin” button where Google’s “I’m feeling lucky” button usually is.

But even though Pac-Man grew to become the best-selling coin-operated game in history, the Google doodle was decidedly less popular with Internet users.

Most of the messages contained too many expletives to repeat.

Other online comments were more charitable, but wondered about the effect the doodle on productivity. All the game details are spot-on, right down to the impulse to ignore work, friends, familiy and play for hours. The playable Pac-Man doodle will stay on Google for 48 hours.

Megan Fox out from the next Transformers 3

Megan Fox, who made her name as Shia LaBeouf’s sultry love interest in the first two “Transformers” movies, has been dropped from the third. Paramount Pictures said Wednesday that Fox’s option was not picked up for part three in the blockbuster Michael Bay series. The studio, which released the first two movies about shape-shifting machines doing battle, declined to give further details or say who would replace the 24-year-old actress.

Fox’s publicist, Dominique Appel, did not return a message left at her office seeking comment.

Fox, notorious for making attention-grabbing comments to the media, engaged in a public spat with director Bay around the release of part two last summer. But Bay later defended her and said he looked forward to working with her on part three.

In announcing “Transformers 3″ in October on his blog, www.michaelbay.com, he wrote: “P.S. Megan Fox, welcome back. I promise no alien robots will harm you in any way during the production of this motion picture.”

“Transformers” from 2007 and the 2009 sequel “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” have made more than $1.5 billion worldwide. Production is scheduled to begin this month on the third installment, with a release date set for July 1, 2011, Paramount said.

Fox also starred last year as the title character in “Jennifer’s Body,” playing a possessed cheerleader who preys on high school boys. The movie, written by Oscar-winning “Juno” writer Diablo Cody, made a disappointing $16.2 million domestically. Next, Fox will star opposite Josh Brolin and John Malkovich in the supernatural Western “Jonah Hex,” scheduled for release June 18.

Ruffa Gutierrez wore a very revealing bustier’ gown which almost revealed her breast. The revealing gown was made by noted Fashion Designer Francis Libiran. Make-up guru Leo Posadas did her make-up. Ruffa Gutierrez has been earlier intrigued with the no-show of John Lloyd Cruz. Since she was not able to make an advance fitting of her gown for the Star Awards, the designer had to sew the gown at the backstage. She added that the zipper behind the gown was not totally zipped because her breast might not force the gown to break and cause a more scandalous moment for her. Iglesia Ni Cristo leader endorse LIberal Party Tandem

A statement released by INC head Eduardo Manalo said they would be supporting the Noynoy Aquino-Mar Roxas tandem in the May 10 national and local elections.The announcement was made before the INC members during the religious services around 5:45 a.m. today. Manalo announced the names of the candidates through a "palibot liham" distributed during Wednesday's worship service at the INC central temple in Quezon City. Included in the list are Rozzano "Ruffy" Biazon, Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr., Pilar Juliana Cayetano, Miriam Defensor-Santiago, Franklin Drilon, Juan Ponce Enrile, Jinggoy Estrada, Ralph Recto, Vicente "Tito" Sotto III, Manuel "Lito" Lapid, Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., and TG Guingona. Many local politicians who need the support of the INC also often support the presidential candidate chosen by the INC leader.

Aquino admitted on Saturday that he and his sisters had met with INC executive minister Eduardo Manalo and sought the INC’s support for his presidential bid. They also thanked him for his prayers for their late mother, Corazon Aquino, who died August 1, 2009 from colon cancer. Historically, the INC has been known to deliver substantial number of votes to candidates which the church leadership has endorsed. In the past, INC supported the candidacies of Presidents Ferdinand Marcos, Joseph Estrada and Gloria Arroyo. The religious group, whose global membership runs up to millions, also came out with a list of senatorial candidates it would be endorsing among its members.

Mayweather Won by Unanimous Decision Against Mosley

The much anticipated and highly awaited biggest boxing event of the month has recently concluded and the 33 years 0ld Floyd Mayweather Jr. was announced as the winner via unanimous decision agains Shane Mosley.

Shane Mosley almost knockout Mayweather in the second round but recover quickly and Mayweather find the rhythm on the fifth up to final round of twelve.

For scores recap, two of the ringside judges scored the fight 119-109 for Mayweather, and a third scored it 118-110. Mayweather landed 208 of 477 punches while Mosley landed just 92 of 452. And for this record, Mayweather now has 41 wins with no loss at all. Congratulations toFloyd Mayweather, Jr.
