As usual I just want to see my blog almost everyday. Unfortunately, I don’t have an internet connection at home, so I spend a lot of money in the internet café just to see, check, add new post and optimize it. If only I have an internet connection at home I will definitely do that. If ever I had an internet connection what I have to do is post everyday not just looking at it. Another thing I do when I open my blog is checking if Google index my blog whether it increases or not, checking how many valued visitors visit my blog, how many pages were viewed, and check the comment section. Wow! What is happening to me? I think I know what you’re thinking guys? There was once an issue before in one of my friends that he has this kind of addiction also. I was also hit by the issue of myself when I started to this kind of hobby that I was already hitting my own mind that I'm already an addict. Not a typical addict who used of illegally drugs (I don’t do that kind of stuff guys…PROMISE!) but an addict to blogging. Having sleepless time during night (not just only night but nights) just to think what kind of topic will hit the digg. I think you guess it now guys. Yes! I have a blogging addiction. Is there any cure about this kind of addiction guys? Please let me know! Hehehe! Before, I was just a simple user who searches the internet for information. When I found out about blogging I’m quite curious what it is really all about. So, as curiosity takes me I research what it is all about. Everyone was mentioning this thing (blog) over the internet, forums, and chat rooms and even some of my friends have their own blog. It's an activity that spans all age groups and occupations. There are personal blogs, tech blogs, advertising blogs and many others. Whatever the topic, someone has probably blogged it. The Internet made it possible for anyone to publish content to a worldwide audience and blog is another way of communicating to other people from around the world aside from cellular phones and e-mails. And what drive’s me to do it? Again…CURIOSITY. So I try and I’ve just started my blog from the scratch. Blogging could be a tough task for a newbie, but… Some of my friends gave me some tips on how to start to create a blog. I do some research and read more about blogging tips. I find it really hard to learn and to know basic things about blogging and also SEO. I admit the reality of hardness, frustration, and stressful that I got, I’m still happy to write what I feel and what I learned so far from blogging. More than four months of journey in blogging addiction my hard work paid off. Right now, this is not just only one blog of mine that you’re reading I have 20 blogs across the blogosphere. Until now my journey as a newbie blogger is keeping me on the right track, still moving on, blogging is my new past time and blogging experience will continue to my journey to success.
Well, at last I’ll take a break for a while and no SE Optimization will happen during Lenten week. Lent, period of fasting and penitence traditionally observed by Christians in preparation for Easter. The length of the Lenten fast, during which observant eat sparingly, was established in the 4th century as 40 days. These bodies emphasize penitence. The Roman Catholic Church has in recent years relaxed its laws on fasting. According to an apostolic constitution issued by Pope Paul VI, fasting and abstinence during Lent are obligatory only on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. As for me, as true Christians I will follow the traditional way of observing during the Lenten season. After April 8, I will not touch my PC’s. It also means that I cannot update or optimize my Hectic Capiznon Bloggers 2009 blog. I will try to publish my last post for Hectic Capiznon Bloggers 2009 blog contest before April 8. And what a coincidence, the end of this Hectic Capiznon Bloggers 2009 blog contest is on April 10, 2009 that’s Good Friday. Well, since that I will not going to open my computer during that day I will not know who will be the winners in the Capiz inter-school SEO contest. I will check the results on Google who are the winners on April 12 that’s Easter Sunday. May I ask the participants of this competition and other college student in Capiz, what will you do on the upcoming lent? Will you use your computer and keep on blogging or updating and optimizing your Hectic Capiznon Bloggers 2009 blog entries? Well, it’s depend upon to you, it’s your choice to make, but if I were you, if you’re truly a true Christians try to observe during Lenten week. It’s a matter of sacrifices, by not opening your PC’s is a mean of self-sacrificing also. Like the way our Lord Jesus Christ sacrifice Himself to save us.
You wonder maybe why my title of my post was “Shout for Joy”. This title (Shout for Joy) was based on a title of a song by Gary Valenciano. Well, I have a reason to shout for joy because my blog has a PageRank 3. I was really surprised when I checked my Google PageRank yesterday. I really shout “Yes” when I saw my Linkmoko blog PageRank increased. Other people were shocked and were looking at me like a crazy one. I was in the internet café when this happen. I really wanted to dance and shout very loud, I don’t care what other people might say to me all I care is that I’m happy of the result. All of my hard work, sacrifices, and patience for optimizing this blog for almost four months were really paid off. Thanks to Google. This is a very great achievement for this blog. Last time, after just a couple of month launching the blog I got also a surprising PageRank jump for the homepage. It seems like every time there is a major Google update of the PR, I will just get an increase. What lovely! Some of my blog got also a PageRank increase. Try to look at them:
It’s the last day of March and, this month is the usual days for the marching music to play. A lot of graduating college students in Capiz is ready with their black dresses and their formal attire for the Baccalaureate Mass. The Hectic Capiznon Bloggers 2009 wants to congratulate all graduating college students in Capiz from different colleges for a job well done. After two or four years of hard work, burning or eyebrows, so many projects, and determination to pass the exam finally it’s over. A new horizon will be opened to these graduates and they will face a new challenge in their lives. There are a lot of questions from their head right now. What now? What will be and what will happen next? Well its time for job hunting. My advice is to prepare yourselves in looking your first job. There are a lot of means doing that and it is for you to find out. Now, if you are planning to take an office job then prepare your resume well. Dress up well and prepare your self for an interview. Apply all the things that you have learned from school.
