Who will win the AMA SEO Contest?

The questions that everybody asks; who will win the AMA SEO contest? The keyphrase for this contest is Proud to be an AMA CLC Roxas student. The mentioned keyphrase should optimize so that when a user search for that particular keyword or keyphrase it will show up on Google. The students’ blog name and follow with the keyphrase who appear in the top first page of Google will declare a winner. Everybody is excited to know who will be the winners for the said contest. This contest was hosted by Mr. Duane Cartujano, an SEO specialist and a graduate also of AMA Computer Learning Center. The participants give a two month period to optimize their blog with the keyphrase proud to be an AMA CLC Roxas student. The end of this contest is on February 14, 2009 at exactly 12 noon. When that day comes every student participants will cross their fingers hoping that they will win in the said contest. I’m also hoping that my blog will show up on the top of Google on that day to grab the first prize. Who will win the AMA SEO contest? Well I don’t know? I’m not even sure that my own blog entry will win in this contest. if ever I will not win in this contest but this gave me an opportunity to gain a lot of learning experience when it comes to optimizing a blog and the world of SEO. AMA Mini SEO Contest Countdown

The end is near. At the end of this month of January this year 2009, most of the participants are now busy checking their own pagerank at Google. Who among of the participants from different courses to different year level from AMA Computer Learning Center Roxas to be declared as winner in a Mini SEO Contest. The key phrase for this contest is “Proud to be an AMA CLC Roxas Student”. Everybody has their own luck coz this year is the year of the Ox. We will who’s lucky in the year of the ox. Last year, December 31 Google pagerank has been update and some sites ranked accordingly. And to my surprise, as I check my own Google pagerank my own site has also been updated from pagerank N/A to pagerank 2. I was really surprise coz I was expecting to get a pagerank of 1. The contest is getting closer and several weeks to go all participants tried to give their best in SEO skills to win the contest for the keyphrase proud to be an AMA CLC Roxas student, work hard and patient is one of the most important aspects on this event the AMA mini SEO contest. My goal right now is to learn more SEO Strategy and techniques to develop my skills and can compete in any SEO contest in the near future. Rank Update for Proud to be an AMA CLC Roxas student contest

After I joined with this AMA Mini SEO contest last December 10, I checked my blog in Google whether my blog has been indexed and where it is ranked. Currently, I am in page 2 for the keyword Proud to be an AMA CLC Roxas student, but not yet on the top or in the first page. Last year, December 31 Google page rank has been updated and some sites ranked accordingly. And to my surprise, as I check my own Google pagerank my own site has also been updated from pagerank N/A to pagerank 2. Here is the screen shot of my page:
By the end of January, I’m going to push this blog to eventually become at the top first page with the keyword Proud to be an AMA CLC Roxas student. I will give my best to earn that spot. But of course, there are other student’s participants who dream also to be at the top of Google rankings. Blogging is not really new to me, but SEO is a new stuff for me. This is my first time to join a Search Engine Optimization, and I tell you frankly guys… I don’t have any idea about SEO. That’s why before I joined this contest I research to the internet what is SEO, different strategies, and techniques used when it comes to search engine optimization. Being At The Top on Google

Being at the top on Google is of course very difficult, especially for me who are newbie in this field. It’s probably because there are too many tricks when it comes to search engine optimization. So that when starting to practice every tricks, I will not get the best result unless never ending confusing. A little tip for any newbie out there, based on my experience, never find any SEO tricks unless we can practice it directly into our blog. In my own experience, although I have only a little knowledge when it comes to SEO, if we really practice it in our blog, it will give us better results. My position now in Google for the keyphrase Proud to be an AMA CLC Roxas student is declining. For this moment I’m on the second page. By the end of January, I’m going to push this blog to eventually being at the top of Google first page with the keyword Proud to be an AMA CLC Roxas student. I will give my best to earn that spot. But of course, there are other student’s participants who dream also to being at the top of Google rankings. Some of my friends and SEO master (that’s what they call them) suggest that to increase my traffic and my ranking as well is to have more backlinks. Next after I write this article, probably I will spread this link into some dofollow blogs that I have already known. I should have to do that just to have good backlinks in order my SEO ranking will improve. If you ask me why not buying some text links or links from reviews, it’s all because I have no enough money to do that. Just for the information of everybody that I’m just only a college student. AMA CLC Roxas Student joins SEO Contest

Blogging is my new past time. I already love blogging at my leisure time in the Computer Laboratory. I’d like to enhance my skills in SEO and someday I’d like to be a good SEO to achieve my goal, I am joining some local SEO contest to practice my skills, learn new strategy and techniques, and learn something new about SEO. Last December 9, 2008, Mr. Duane Cartujano announced the new local SEO contest. This is the AMA Mini SEO Contest. The Participants should optimize their entry post using the key phrase “Proud to be an AMA CLC Roxas student”. Your entry should be on the top of the Google SERP. I had joined the AMA mini SEO contest with the keyphrase “Proud to be an AMA CLC Roxas student”. But unfortunately my entry ranked 5th this time and still declining. I was already happy because this time, my goal is to be on the top first page at least that was lucky enough. After a long time, efforts of optimizing a blog in the mini SEO contest my effort showed up. I will try my luck this time and be on the top of AMA SEO contest. I have already my entry which I had posted a last December 10. I hope I can win this contest. The prize in this contest is not that much high as other SEO Contest, what is the important here is that I can gain more knowledge and experience on how to optimize a blog. So that, when there’s another contest, I will apply what I’ve learned. I hope I can win in this SEO contest or if not will at least be on the top 10. My First Monthsary in Cyberspace

My blogsite now is 1 month old living in Cyber. Since I started blogging. My first site was all about computer technology, which means that any hardware, software or gadgets that are all related to computer, I publish it on the internet using the blogger. My official blogsite for different computer technology was TechLabCapiz. I decided to have this site as a computer enthusiast for any computer related topics. I am very happy that I have my own space in the internet. And I am very happy to see that I am not only one who benefit in this blogsite but also other people who’s searching on the internet. I really love computers and have computer magazines and stream videos online. I also love high tech gadgets and I consider myself as computer gamer also. I remember my child hood memories, that I am playing a super Mario, Contra, street fighter and many others, but those games where old versions coz you know its long time ago. Right now I’m playing counterstrike source, DOTA, and I love playing Real-Time Strategy game like Red Alert 3 and Age of Empire 3. Well right now, I have a new blogsite, but this was actually my entry for the AMA mini SEO contest. The key phrase for this contest is “proud to be an AMA CLC Roxas student”. Well. I’m definitely proud to be an AMA CLC Roxas student in so many ways. I decided to join in this contest not just only to win a cash prize but also to test my skills and capabilities when it comes to SEO. John is a College Student in Capiz

Jan is currently a 2nd year college student in capiz, taking up Computer System and Network Technology (CSNT) at AMA Computer Learning Center Roxas. He is also a graduating student this school year 2009. CompTech Student: Proud to be an AMA CLC Roxas Student

Being a college student in Capiz has a big obligation. Why? First, you have to go to the school five times a week. Second, you do your homework or assignment every night. And lastly, third, you have to study hard because if you don’t you will get failed in the exams, or worst you have to retake the subject again next school year. Will luckily…this is my last semester (oh yeah! clap clap clap) coz I’m a graduating student, taking up Computer System and Network Technology (Computer Technician for short) at the best computer school here in Capiz, Philippines, the AMA Computer Learning Center Roxas. And I am damned proud to be an AMA CLC Roxas Student. Will being a college student in Capiz and a Computer Technician in Capiz, PC troubleshooting and Maintenance is the only things I’ve know.
